OpenBSD 3.8, Hard as Nails Secure

Theo de Raadt has released version 3.8 of the “Hard as Nails” operating system, OpenBSD. OpenBSD has always been my first pick for a secure DNS or mail server. Now with improved hardware support and RAID management tools, OpenBSD becomes more attractive for a wider host of uses. Although OpenBSD is free, if you order the cdroms you will help to support the tireless efforts of Theo and his contributors.

Visit the OpenBSD site where OpenBSD is freely available from their FTP and mirrors. You should consider buying the 3-CD set. The current release is OpenBSD 3.8 which was released Nov 1, 2005.
